| As companies have become increasingly aware of
the cost of disposing of waste and used packaging they have turned
to alternative disposal channels. Just as we have arrangements with
some of our suppliers to return empty containers, we too collect used
packaging from our customers. This lowers their waste collection costs,
directs material away from landfill, is energy efficient and prolongs
the usefulness of the original resource. Click

| It has been said that ‘opportunity passes
most people by because when it knocks on the door it is dressed in
overalls and looks like hard work’. We can certainly attest
that it has been hard work (and it hasn’t stopped) introducing
biodegradable materials into the Australian market. Click

Our
recycled content products conserve the earth’s resources through
the reuse of post industrial scrap polyethylene. These products are virtually
100% local material. Whether it is our own, or our customers’ scrap,
which we have collected from them, it is all from the Melbourne metropolitan
area. That’s nearly 25 tonnes a month diverted from local landfill
sites.
From a wider perspective, approximately
24% of packaging PE is recycled in Australia. The major benefit of using
recycled PE is that there is no further depleting the earth’s hydrocarbon
deposits and it is more energy efficient to produce than the virgin alternative.
Recycled PE can offer a similar look,
feel, strength and imperviousness as virgin PE for an enormous number
of everyday applications, and IT IS MORE COST EFFECTIVE. Please contact
us for quotes and quantities.
