We believe the natural environment is under considerable pressure from the activities of mankind and that human activity is placing extraordinary demands on the sustainability of our planet. At Allviron we are taking proactive responsibility for our impact on the world's stock of natural resources and their subsequent disposal after human use.

We follow the basic steps to separate our waste to ensure as much as possible is diverted from landfill, and were possible recycled. This has involved collaborating with a number of our suppliers to prepare empty containers, such as bulk bags, cardboard, drums etc, for return during the delivery of raw materials. May we take this opportunity to thank those suppliers for their assistance and commitment to sustainable manufacturing.

All practical measures are taken to ensure our manufacturing process does not discharge any contaminants into the atmosphere or water systems. Our process is a significant energy consumer which we take every opportunity to minimise, and that makes commercial as well as environmental sense.

Allviron has been part of a six company PACIA and EPA Cleaner Manufacturing Pilot Programme designed to assess and lower solid waste generation during our processes.

Locally Allviron actively participated in the Hume City Council Merri Creek Project designed to stop contamination by industrial waste through the storm water system into the local creek.
